Welcome Back 

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to the start of the Autumn Term. The children have settled well and are becoming familiar with their new routines. Everyone looks so smart returning to school in their school uniform, behaviour has been impeccable. Pupils are asked to wear their PE kit to school on a PE day, this consists of a plain white t-shirt and black shorts or joggers, we have had a fantastic response with this, thank you. Please be reminded that attendance is of the upmost importance, I ask you not to take holidays in term time. Taking holidays in term time impacts negatively on the well-being and progress of your child.

I look forward to working with our new families and existing families over the academic year.

Extracurricular Clubs

Due to popular demand, Science Club and Forest School Club will now be running on a half termly basis. All pupils who haven't been allocated a place for the first half term will be notified and can start the club week commencing 6^th November.  

School will use Google Forms to book Spring Term clubs, further information will be available closer to the time. 

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank staff who take clubs on a voluntary basis.

AUTUMN TERM SCHOOL RUN CLUBS- START W/B 11^TH SEPT

All clubs to start at 3.20pm and finish at 4.00pm

*Please note, we have arranged to start a girls football club this term in collaboration with Newport Live. However, we are waiting for a start date and confirmation of which day the club will be. If Y5/6 girls are interested we ask them to sign up. Unfortunately this club will not be starting the week beginning 11.09.2023. More information to come! Please remember there are only 16 places available.
