HALF TERM 15th – 19th FEBRUARY – NO HUB PROVISION
School has been informed today that there is no Critical childcare provision (Hub) over the half term period. Parents will be expected to provide childcare as it is a normal half term.
THANK YOU MESSAGES
Thank you to the parents who have been emailing staff and school senior leaders to thank them for their commitment to providing blended learning and also critical childcare provision in Hub. These messages of thanks are always passed onto staff, they really boost morale and team spirit.
Parental consultations Spring Term – We usually would be inviting parents to a consultation this term to discuss their child’s work. Once we know where we are with returning to school we will schedule these consultations via telephone. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the class teacher or the school office.
Please be reminded that all pupils are invited to attend a live celebration assembly every Friday at 11.30am. A link to join the Assembly via Google Meet will be text out to parents shortly before the event. We ask for all pupils to be on MUTE during the assembly.
Update from Welsh Education Minister
An important update on schools return was made this morning by the Welsh Education Minister.
I’d like to inform you that current arrangements for home learning and critical childcare emergency provision will continue as they are until February half term. As soon as I am made aware of more details I will communicate with you.
Thank you all for your continued support with home learning and for the kind messages of thanks we’ve received from parents. It is much appreciated. Stay safe and take care.
It is essential that any pupil, teacher or staff member who have COVID-19 symptoms, or who share a household with someone who has symptoms, does not attend the school / setting and follows the self-isolation guidance and access a test.
THE MAIN SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19:-

a new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
