Friday 27th October

Half Term Wishes

Huge thanks to the Mount Pleasant Family for making the first 8 weeks of the Autumn Term a really successful one. Our pupils have worked incredibly hard, it was lovely seeing so many parents attending face to face consultations this week. We hope you have enjoyed discussing and celebrating your child’s progress. Thanks to the Staff who have supported and taken part in consultations, your hard work and commitment to the education of our pupils is appreciated. Wishing you all a happy and healthy half term with your friends and families. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday 6th November.

YEAR 3

Year 3 have been looking at ‘The Rainforest’ as their topic this term.  We decided to research people who live the rainforest and found out that their homes are under threat from deforestation.  We made bracelets in class and collected money to donate to www.rainforesttrust.org

We raised an incredible £53.85, a huge thank you to every one in year 3 for buying a bracelet and donating money to a very important cause.

Pumpkin Trail

We hope all the children enjoyed taking part in this years pumpkin trail. A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the set up of this event. And also a massive thank you to all the businesses who donated- Asda Pillgwenlly and Duffryn who worked together due to budgets to source us pumpkins and sweets along with Tesco Spytty and Morrisons Rogerstone who provided us with lots of sweets for the children. We are very grateful for their support.
