MORRISONS ROGERSTONE – LITTLE CHILDREN’S LIBRARY (Swapping a book scheme)
A child can come into store and choose a book to take home to read. If they like the book, they can keep it or swap it for another book.
Also, you can donate books in good condition that you no longer read and place them in the pillar box for book ‘swapping’ to work. All books are Covid secure.
PARKING NEAR THE SCHOOL
Please be mindful & careful where you are parking when dropping off and collecting your children.
Lateral Flow testing
Lateral Flow Testing for staff has now been introduced, please be aware that this could impact on possible class closures at short notice. In the event of a member of staff testing positive a class bubble will need to be closed and pupils and staff will need to isolate. This will be communicated with you via text to parents in the first instance and followed up with a letter from school regarding the situation.
It is essential that any pupil, teacher or staff member who have COVID-19 symptoms, or who share a household with someone who has symptoms, does not attend the school / setting and follows the self-isolation guidance and access a test.
THE MAIN SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19:-
a high temperature: this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
a new, continuous cough: this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste: this means you’ve noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.
