DONT' FORGET THE NON-UNIFORM DAY + £1 TO RAISE FUNDS FOR vELINDRE ON FRIDAY 10.7.15
A HUGE WELL DONE TO PUPILS FROM BEST BUYERS LOOM IT!
Through all of their hard work making over 300 loom bands, they have raised £126.26 for the school and for Velindre.
The stall was a huge success with everybody at the Extravaganza, so well done!!
A huge well done to three of our Year 5 pupils who have raised money for the Guide Dogs Trust.
The three girls held a sponsored silence for a day and managed to stay quiet until home time! This showed extreme will power and determination! The girls have raised a super £ 34.10 !!!!!

This week Year 6 had a visit from Ellie, who works with children to raise awarness of how you can use your talents to raise money for charity. The Year 6 children were very inspired and have come up with many novel ways to raise money through our school. We will keep you posted with any developments!
WALES AIR AMBULANCE
Mount Pleasant are now in the process of raising a significant amount of money for the Wales Air Ambulance Charity.

We are aiming for the Mission Award, where we need to raise £1500. We have already rasied £800, with a great contribution form Miss Morgan's fund raising events!
Thank you to everbody who has donated a bag/s, we collected 91 bags! This will surely raise a significant amount, but we are waiting to see exactly how much.
We are in the process of planning our next Wales Air Ambulance fundraising event, so watch this space!

Children in Need 2014
FRIDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 2014
We are all dressing up in our pyjamas on the 14th November to raise
money for Children in Need. Please bring £1 to school to support this
cause =]
One of our Year 6 pupils has been very busy making Children in Need
keyrings to sell on Friday. They are 20p each and all of the money will go
to children in need.

Two Year 6 pupils also raised money for C.I.N by selling cakes at their parents place of work. They had a delicious range of cakes including homemade, cupackes, gingerbread men, rice krispie cakes, mince pies, meringues and a showstopper victoria sponge!!
THEY RAISED A FANTASTIC £128.00- WELL DONE GIRLS!!!!!

This morning, the staff at Mount Pleasant have held a coffee morning in support of Mamillan cancer support. The staff brought in and baked a variety of tasty treats, which went down very well indeed!! We hope to raise over £50.00. Thank you to all the staff who took part and donated!!

FUN RUN 2014!!
Well done to everyone who took part in the fun run. We are hoping to raise money for our school to buy more equipment. So far we have raised a fantastic..... £890.00!!!!

We have held another loom band stall in Mount Pleasant!
Four pupils in Year 5 have held a stall after school, to raise money for the charity Mac Millian. They have been very busy making a variety of loom bands for the stall. So far they have raised an a fabulous £10.00 !! They will also be selling bands at the school disco on Thursday evening.

Well done to two pupils in Year 6 for raising an outstanding £53.00 from their loomband stall on Friday !!!

The money has been sent to Breast Cancer Care, Cancer Research and The RSPCA.
