New Spelling Scheme
A new spelling scheme is being introduced across the whole school so you will note some changes to our routines over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, please return spelling books to school on Friday 13th January for the first set of new spellings for this term.
Spellings will now be issued fortnightly. Spellings issued in one week. A spelling test will take the following Friday; a dictation based on these spelling lists the following Friday again. and then new spellings issued.
All spelling lists and dictation exercises will be sent home in spelling books, dated for your information. Tests will take place in the back of the spelling books as is currently done so. Dictation exercises will take place in class books during the spelling lesson.
Additional information will follow on the whole school newsletter.

We will continue to complete spelling and grammar lessons in class on a Friday, using the new Nessy spelling scheme, supplementing activities withy the existing materials we are currently using.
