Fairtrade Media in Mount Pleasant Primary School
Mount Pleasant Fairtrade and Multicultural Week
During the course of the week the school began to learn about Fairtrade. Mr Williams introduced everyone to Fairtrade during a whole school assembly. He showed everyone why making sure that people are paid a fair price for their produce is so important.
In our classes we then did lots of different activities, here's a flavour.... mapping fairtrade countries, making banana smoothies, making fairtrade cakes, tasting fairtrade chocolate, making fairtrade leaflets, producing fairtrade posters and writing poems.
Every class is holding cake stalls (with the help of the PTA). We would like to sell fairtrade products only so please can everyone who provides cakes to sell check to see if they are Fairtrade cakes. Mr Hills class have done their stall it is now the turn of Mr Rothwell and Mrs Irvine.
